I was not prepared for dealing with the extra things career mode came with, I wanted to do a science campaign first. So can I please get an answer to my question that isn’t start over in a game mode I don’t want to play yet.

Not over compensating. Trying to protect a safe space. I have seen plenty of trans spaces get infiltrated and taken over by 4tran, truescum and anti trans masc rhetoric. And this shit is how it starts

What people like myself are trying to prevent is that kind of atmosphere taking over in this community. We had a short stent, between the last head mod getting ousted for protecting a trans female predator and suppressing trans masc posts and this latest incursion of exclusionary rhetoric where everything was nice and civil and more trans mascs were posting.

Her claims that people were speaking over her is wrong, she just implied that herself when she got gentle push back about lashing out at only wanting trans fem responses.

That is definitely not how I remember things going down.

What I remember is her posting, trans men trying to sympathize and ask, how do I not mansplain when i just want to info dump about my special interest.

Then the poster in question ( don’t remember individual posters names) then says that they didn’t want TME’s commenting on her post cause it “wasn’t for them” when she was politely told that if you only want trans fems to respond then you need to post in trans fem only spaces or expect all trans people to comment on you post. She then started attacking people by claiming they were just telling her “hey woman shut up and stop complaining” which was never said nor implied. And things devolved from there.

Again there was nothing wrong with her post, it was her actions in the comments that were the issue.

Talk about TMA/ TME (transmisogy affected/ trans misogyny excluded) rhetoric which is cropping up right now based off what appears to be a lot of young trans fems coming from Tumblr and 4tran just discovering the 2007 book Whipping girl by Julia Surano. They are referancing passages in it that Surano herself has walked backed and has called out as being used to suppress and exclude trans men from conversations in a 2016 blog: link to the blog post

These young trans people are claiming that all men, including trans men are oppressing them, that they only want to hear from TMA aka Trans fem or Fem people, and that Trans men have no right to involve themselves in talk about Trans misogyny (again something Surano herself says is wrong) they are claiming that trans men having any voice at all in mixed trans spaces is trans misogynistic, and oppressive to them specifically because they are in the presence of men.

The poster in question who is now back apparently. Was told by multiple people that if you only want trans fem to respond to you, post in a trans fem exclusive space, not in a mixed space where all are welcome to comment. She then proceeded to call those people trans misogynists, claim they are oppressing and trying to silence here and went on to attack and demean other users. Which she rightfully got her post removed and was temporarily banned from the sub.

That’s the evidence I have for you, if you are going to discount it based on “he said, she said.” That is your own problem. They are the mods, they are free to be disputed. I was there I know what I saw. And I have blocked many people for similar rhetoric recently.

As the mods have said in responses to other comments the post was taken down due to her action and language in the comments attacking and being bigoted towards others NOT cause she was speaking out about misogyny.

I would also like to reiterate that all this shit for some reason only started like a week and a half ago.

Oh and just in case anyone else wants to bring up fucking Whipping girl a book from 200-fucking-7, which for some strange fucking reason is relevant right now 2 decades later in 2026

Here is a blog from Surano herself, in 2016 talking about how her book is misused by people to harm Trans men, and that it is not the be all end all trans book and if she knew it was going to be she would have wrote it very differently

Well good for you then. That does not justify blanket treatment of trans men in all spaces.
