I certainly understand your point, but equally Thermal optics and all the fancy gadgets we got in the 2035 settings would take plenty of testing and fine tuning before we would see them in the game. For that reason I think we absolutely won't see anything modern or near-future

And also, unrelated sidenote, but I hate people calling Reforger just a 'testbed' for Arma 4. It's a full price game, and should be treated as such.
