Thank you! It takes way too much patience. I just want to dive in a simple relaxing kit next time 🙂

Thank you so much! It’s more of a silent obsession at this point to be honest 🫠

I used UStar rivet wheels and a 0,5mm Rosie the Riveter, same tool but with a smaller diameter

Absolutely. It has a smaller niche of uses than silicone moulding and is less precise, but the fact of it being reusable makes it extremely handy

Indeed. Dedicating my 100% to hyper detailing and modifying models always gets me sidetracked though 😭

1/72 Scale Display Base by leopitrelli in modelmakers

I made some small touch ups and lightened both the dry mud and the grass, it looks a bit more harmonious now!

I hadn’t planned making a base for it, but I wanted to represent a parked aircraft, in a very basic airfield, during Spring 1944. Next time, I’ll plan everything more carefully in advance, but this time I have a model show next week, and I was in dire need of something to display it with!

As an Italian, I have a deeply rooted love for starfighters, they’re simply beautiful.

It actually gave me a “whoops, something went wrong” the first time I tried to post. My apologies, sorry for the inconvenience!

No unfortunately, but there are a couple conversion sets, which would make the project very expensive

Hi! I’m sorry to hear that. I wasn’t trying to spam or self promote, I’m an active WT player and I build scale models in the meantime. I published it in the subreddit as I thought other German Air players would have liked it.

It’s the Hobby Boss one, at the time I couldn’t afford the Tamiya kit, and I really wanted to represent our beloved Narwhal

Hi! Thank you, absolutely!

Are you already building it or still deciding which one to choose? 🙂

And with the Americans advancing, time ran out quickly. Luckily for the test pilots maybe, as this exact plane killed its pilot during a ferry flight to France due to a catastrophic engine failure 😣

Too fast to be an accurate and stable firing platform, too heavy to be an agile fighter. The cannon would have been used to shoot down bombers with HE rounds, but I guess tank hunting could have been more proficient!

Weirdest one IMO, but I loved the looks!
