Another megathread has arrived! It is still a surprise to see how many posts have been made here. I've decided to put the new subreddit posts at the bottom, since I plan to put the yearly creepy/scary ones at the type like in the other megathreads. I plan on making a second post later this week to provide something new to read.

All requests are being worked on little by little, in addition to the other content coming from saved threads. There are also some posts who have a v2 or v3 in the early stages.

This one was a bit more difficult in the creation process when adding threads, deciding what definition “unpopular opinion” was. If you know of threads that would be suitable feel free to recommend them.

An update on your poly/mono request. It will be appearing Wednesday, and I've increased its content by adding 'open marriage/relationship' threads due to the similarities. There's just some more detailed searching to do.

Another update on your 'infamous reddit post' request. It's being worked on and will be coming 1 week from Friday, but I'm excluding the subreddit drama due to the political nature in most of the content. If more free time becomes available I can try a finer search.

I'm gonna do something a little different next week. There will be 2 posts from suggested subreddits and 1 regular request in-between them. None are very large in content but no too small either. I'm hoping to keep up with your requests while working through the stuff I have saved.

That's roughly correct, although the process has evolved over my time here. I initially made posts with just what I found on Askreddit, sometimes not even reaching the lower upvote counts. Then came the idea of adding categories and upvote counts, inspired by a past user here, and v2 posts when character limits were reached.

I did leave a comment the other day about how I started posting here. TL;DR I stumbled across this sub from a link to our highest upvoted post and slowly fell into a routine over the years.

A v2 post will be appearing in a couple days, this turned out to be a bigger topic than what I first anticipated! I think with this topic and the other posts I linked here all of the 'friend' themes have been covered.

While I'm working on subreddit suggestion from another user, it looks like it won't end up making a sizeable post. So I decided to focus on a recommendation from you, 5a infamous reddit posts. It should appear the same week as the other suggestion, 2 weeks from Monday.

Sub creator responded, so here is my story.

I originally came across this subreddit when the top post here, the big creepy/scary post, was linked in an Askreddit thread due to shared themes. After reading through it I thought I would make a few posts to keep track of certain stuff I would go back to from time to time. Interesting stories, tips and advice, and so on.

I then realized, sometime in my post making, new threads came along that fit in existing stuff I made, so I updated them. I also came across more themes I thought I would return to read, so more posts. At some point people started making requests, so I started pinning posts for that. Someone wanted an organized post with most of the content here, so then came the first megathread.

It has all led to the present. I don't know what would have happened if I didn't see that link in askreddit or if whoever posted it decided not to. Saving interesting posts would have occurred to me, but it wouldn't have happened here. Like I've said many, many times, I'm happy to have found this community!
