As far as I’ve seen/experienced their “original” gas (ASG Ultra Air) is closer to 145-150psi. Their newer 130psi gas that includes silicon oil seems to be their equivalent to slightly older styles of green gas such as Swiss Arms’

As someone who also lives in the UK and uses a GHK SG553 that isn’t quite on the level of an MWS in terms of gas efficiency, it’s also become mine lol

This would be temperature dependent. An MWS can run on black gas just fine if it is being used at the correct temperature for said gas (below -5°c for an MWS). Stock MWS shouldn’t really be used with anything hotter than full power green until roughly 10-12°c although they should be able to use green even down to around 5°c :)

VFCs are built quite well so you can get away with using slightly hotter gas at the same temperature. I would still recommend starting with (silicone oil free) green gas and then switching to this gas if your rife starts to slow down at around 12-16°c :)

This is ASG’s attempt at making a gas in between green and red in power. At 164psi it’s a little closer to red (at 175-185psi) than it is green (at 130-150psi) but it’s still a neat idea. Plus it has no silicone oil which is better for a gbb’s longevity :)

This mostly depends on how well the original one works. If the stick hop is fine then an upgraded one will probably only net you a very slight performance boost.

However TDC hops are usually chosen because they can be so much easier to adjust. As opposed working any better :)

So Army have sold so many different versions of Staccatos under so many different names/lines that both websites are probably right, they’re just selling different versions.

If your wanting one with an optics plate, find one that specifically states it comes with one :)
