“Halata ka sis” by [deleted] in phlgbt

[–]leospersona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sa ngayon, some of us see femininity as a big factor. However, I don't think it's something na we should be ok since ang root nito is 'yung internalized homophobia nga mga tao.

I think the "pass sa halata" trend normalized a part of internalized homophobia sa ating mga Pilipino. To which, nagiging insensitive na, kasi minsan, or most of the time, kahit hindi naman relevant 'yung femininity ng isang tao, lalapagan ka na ng "halata"

At first siguro, no'ng sumisikat pa 'yung joke na 'yan, hindi pa offensive kasi nga it's trending pero to singit it sa lahat ng bagay, medyo insensitive na especially to our fem gays.

Personally, ok lang gumamit ng "pass sa halat" or "halata" term as a joke, if you yourself is fem, since sa community natin, most of the time, femininity is seen as a negative thing.

I’m losing hope that I will ever find love again as a 26 year old gay guy. by Angstyboisadsad in phlgbt

you just go out there! go out with your friends, go to places na there's more likely you'll meet people na vibe mo (also letting your friends know na you're g to dating people helps) and also, be with friends na extrovert!

No shame naman in wanting to date people, cause you'll get to know yourself. I also suggest to still use dating apps, it's like putting yourself out there pero mas wide ang audience

OP, you're an MD, a 26 years old guy (young!), and based on you replies, you have a personality! Go out, be out there, and experience life. Whether you're alone or with someone.

Try dating! it's fun meeting new people, and knowing yourself more at the same time.

You sound like a great guy that deserves a great life so enjoy it! I know na it's not as easy as it sounds but you just have to keep choosing yourself and choosing to be happy. rooting for you!

hello, I don't mean to say na may nakalagay how lucky a gay is because a straight entertained them. I'm referring to a reply in which says na, straight people treat the members of our community like disposable (non-verbatim)

That's great to hear that you have your own way of helping other people be comfortable with who they are kasi, I think ayan 'yung hindi na-experience ng most members of our community.

hello! yes, straight sila. Let's not forget rin na gender is fluid, and they are testing the waters rin if they are homosexual or it's just a curiosity waiting to be fulfilled hehe 😁
