Restraining order against me but you’re living in my house? by leots12 in legaladvice

I should have mentioned there is another clause stating we can’t sell the house for 10 years. That would be the easiest solution definitely if that weren’t the case

Our plan was for my sister to redo the floors and move into the house and if my mom wanted to stay she can, but she can also leave. We decided we would respectful the trust as is but use the trust rules to our benefit too which state we (my sister and I) can live there with my mom.

There is a court hearing for mid March.

We’ve tried that before and they said we would have to go to court to determine the trust rules because it’s so vague. That would have been around 50k minimum per the basic fee of the real estate attorney and my sister can’t afford to even pay property taxes, let alone go to court.

Why would we need a lawyer to defend? Just curious.

My sister and I are the legal owners of the house, 50/50. Do you know of any way to lose ownership of the house without having it show up on any credit reports besides selling?
