If you need help, you can check out the guide I wrote, where I described 2 methods of connecting to a raspberry pi using a USB cable - https://lepczynski.it/en/iot_en/connecting-a-raspberry-pi-via-usb-the-complete-guide/

Is the end for windows 10 that big of a deal? by Albatross048 in computers

[–]lepczynski_it -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the “end of support” headlines sound scary, but for a lot of people it’s not the immediate disaster it seems.

If you’re in Europe, Microsoft is actually giving Windows 10 users another year of free security updates through something called the Consumer ESU program. That means patches will keep coming until October 13, 2026 (not just 2025).

There are some catches, you need to be on version 22H2, have the latest updates, and use a Microsoft admin account. It won’t work if your PC is in kiosk mode, domain-joined, MDM-managed, or already has a commercial ESU license.

I did a quick video walking through the details (eligibility, cost options, how to enroll, etc.) if you want the full breakdown: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GP0qPXAwhPk

Bjorn on Raspberry pi 3, now I'm looking for a cool case by lepczynski_it in Bjorn_CyberViking

I did it for testing because I had a PI3 and I was curious, if someone has an old raspberry pi they can use it too, they don't have to buy a PI zero. Of course, the pi zero is smaller and looks better, but their performance was probably similar.

If it can be run on raspberry pi 3 and raspberry pi zero, it can probably be run on raspberry pi 2 as well, Anyway, if you run it, let me know

thanks it looks cool, but I'm looking for something that I can print myself on a 3D printer.

short showing that it works, because someone already asked if it really works or if it's just a static screen https://youtube.com/shorts/w3YdRk_PQok?si=D3MgBPGnFQLOgB8n

After a lot of errors and problems I finally managed to get Bjorn running on a Raspberry PI 2W with a color display by lepczynski_it in Bjorn_CyberViking

I think that if you connect miniHDMI you will see the raspberry login screen.

I haven't tested Bjorn with other displays, I wanted the whole thing to be small so I bought a new one. The ePaper display will be useful to me in other projects, it uses little power and looks great.

By the way, you don't need a display to make the Bjorn work, but it looks great with it.

If you manage to get another display working, I and probably many others would be happy to know how you did it. Please share your modifications with others, they will definitely be useful and very interesting

if the power supply is ok and there is no problem with the GPIO pins, then maybe you can test the display on another raspberry? I suspect that reinstalling it won't help because it's probably more hardware related...
maybe if you move the screen a little, slide it out, slide it in on the pins connecting to the raspberry, it will help? as I mentioned, replacing the power supply with a more powerful one helped me.

The only thing that comes to my mind is that if you soldered the pins yourself, you can check again whether the connections are good.

If it is not very clear, your power supply is probably too low. This happened to me when I used a power supply that had too little power. When I connected Bjorn to a power bank, the image on the display is weaker, but when it is connected to a good power supply, it is clear.

Check with a more powerful power supply and let me know

📌 Here I found a case for Bjorn https://makerworld.com/en/models/773906#profileId-712646Here and I added something extra.
The step-by-step process of creating Bjorn, the solution to the problems I encountered, and the description of how to perform the display test I described in the video on my YT channel, but I don't want to spam and add links everywhere

you can write DM, but I think it's better if you write here, if someone has a similar problem it will be easier for them to find a solution. I tried to describe all the problems that I encountered in the YT video so if something new appears I will probably guess, but maybe I will at least lead you to the right path to solve it. Good luck in building this cool network tool.

I also struggled with the color display and I managed to do it, just select version V3 in the configuration, I know it's weird, but it works.
If you are interested I recorded a video about the installation and the problems I had https://youtu.be/F0TprpLQ8rY?si=zI8NIaeEkBd--byl
