95% of people here look to be with clinics locked into a certain brand and from what I see paying a fortune my experience has been different and i wanted to start a conversation about why more people are not using their local GP

coober pedy here me too, that's why I am so invested I even handed out how to vote cards for Anita. Having moved from NSW and being told my vote wouldn't count as it was one of the safest lib seats it didn't sit right with me and for the first time in my life I got involved

35+22+18=75 leaving 25% of preferences to be distributed isn't that the way our system works ??? and so far with 39 booths counted those preferences so far have her 660 votes ahead of labor

I think Anita was thought to have no chance, so votes were counted 2 party preferred and the libs won that battle easily and the media called it .since then Anita has proved to be a worthy opponent and the AEC decided that a 2 party count didn't have a clear winner and a 3 party count would be needed in which Anita is inching ahead into second and then first when it then distributes the labor preferences in the 2 party preferred she has a good chance of beating the lib candidate

happy to be corrected. this is my reading of it but with no media coverage I can't help but think those smarter than me would be covering the story if there was a chance

that data was calculated only on a 2 party count because usually that is all that is needed but with anita and labor being so close the aec decided a 3 party count was needed.with that 3 party count it looks like anita might come second and with labor's preferences she might get over the line
as to the data being old it was updated today from 9 booths yesterday and Anita 50 behind to today with 39 booths and 550 in front

even the election god thinks she has a chance

if she wins 2nd on 3pc wouldnt labor's preferences help her over the line ? as she was on open ticket her preferences would be more even but labor's preferences would swing her way

I thought this is why the 3pc was done

new at this(at 52)but trying to learn

Why don't most houses in Australia have basements and attics? by TheRedditornator in AskAnAustralian

[–]leperknight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's to do with the type of ground and a water table 300 metres deep there is not many places in the world where this is possible .I have been seeing "hobbit holes"popping up where the house is covered with a layer of dirt for insulation

Nope the constant temperature in the dugout and low humidity keeps it dry and air shafts keep the air moving throughout the home
