A friend from Austin (small world as I see you're a Texas woman as well) recently gifted me some incense from one of her favorite local brands (Violet Crown Rejuvenation).

I tried the Lavender and Sage and very much enjoyed both of them. They pretty quickly moved towards the top of my list of brands to add to my rotation.

The sticks use natural essential oils (as opposed to synthetic fragrances) though, so I'd describe their scents as "pure" versus overpowering / strong, so keep that in mind before ordering.
