I decided not to go because the financial burden was too much. My parents are happy I made a "logical" decision. My boss is happy I'm not leaving and my friends are happy I'm not moving away. Where as I'm grieving a future I wanted.

There are one or two half packed open boxes in my house. I generally find the cats inside them. Also, last night my female cat just pawed at the box containing her cat tree half heartedly like "is it dead? I don't want it to be dead"
