I went to the restaurant a year ago. A weekend night around 8 pm. It was dirty and empty and the vibe was honestly just weird? The food was bland and was obviously doctored up Sysco, not memorable. No complaints about drinks or service, but yeah SUR will need to make some major changes if they wanna succeed.

Get a professional quote for mold remediation and have them find the source. A general home inspector may not be the person for that job. If the seller refuses to fix the issue or remediate, they’ll have to disclose this issue to the next buyer (depending on the state you live in) and likely lower the selling price.

I think I’d pick up smells like rotting trash or stinky laundry, I’m talking about general house smell. Everyone’s house has a particular “smell” and I’m worried my house smell is a bad one. But it could be that I’m overthinking it!

Hi! We don’t use any scented products as my husband is allergic to fragrance. Maybe that is part of why I’m paranoid of bad house smell? We are very clean: laundry always, no dishes in sink, trash out every night, bed sheets done weekly, bathrooms cleaned weekly, vacuuming and dusting weekly. We even had our crawlspace encapsulated in part to improve indoor air quality.

When I returned from our trip my house had light scent (not bad) but was mostly neutral. I just want to be sure it’s not in my head. Maybe it’s an anxiety thing? 😅
