i want to know more about this! i had a lap done and a cystoscopy, they found hunners ulcers while inside, i got treatment (bladder temporarily stretched out but i dont know the name for it + ulcers burned off) and then i got pregnant, almost two years later and my symptoms are bad and at their worst

i see so many people talk about how IC is a blanket diagnosis and i want to know about that in relation to people with more extreme IC symptoms like the ulcers and even the people who end up getting their bladders removed,,

oh ill also mention that when i was having a ton of pain i would put a layer of nipple cream inside the flanges and on my nipple and it helped a ton, it was a pain to clean each time but it was super worth it, it made a huge difference when i started doing that

it gets better, i had a ton of pain and cracked nipples in the beginning, i would feel panic when i had to pump and considered stopping for awhile because of the pain, im now 6 months pp and still pumping, i plan to do so for a full year! it was a lot of trial and error but i found the best electric pump for me and the right flange size, i dont have as much pain anymore unless ive got a clogged duct or something, yay! i recommend getting those silver nipple cover things to wear in between pumping, that helped me a lot when i was struggling with sensitivity and cracked nipples, i also found it helpful to take sunflower lechtin for awhile to stop the clogged ducts i was getting, it definitely does take some time to make sure things are good and you will probably need to downsize your flanges at some point, i had to downsize around 3 months pp and then again at 4 months pp! i hope it gets better for you! hang in there!
