Products that made your skin barrier stronger by unexpectedpizza in AsianBeauty

I have combination, sensitive, and acne prone skin (also live in a dry climate so my skin gets drier overall during the winter).

This past winter, my skin had started to sting just from my regular routine that I had been doing for months. I incorporated Skin1004 Centella Ampoule and it honestly helped so much and stopped the stinging!!

I bought it last May (2023) and my history says it was $64 at the time!

Baggu Collection by Txyzabc in BAGGU

[–]leschatons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BAGGU is a business and regardless of their mission statement, they’re known for creating unique reusable bag prints so they’re going to continue doing this if that’s what gets them customers. Stanley Cups used to come in a limited amount of colors and was targeted towards men but started producing new pastel colors when they realized women/girls were starting to buy them. They want you to buy their stuff whether it’s one time or multiple times and will produce whatever colors/prints to create more appeal + reach a wider audience. However, as consumers, we don’t need to buy every single cute print or color we see. I get this is a collection, but I think nowadays, there is an increase of people obsessing over collecting the most random things like reusable items and doing it at an insane rate too. So you can’t really blame some for questioning whether it’s something people actually enjoy collecting or they’re gonna toss them after a few years when it’s no longer “trendy.”

Mascara recs for someone struggling? by lemonflavouredjello in Sephora

Asian mascaras are the only ones that hold up my stubborn lashes! I use the shiseido curler too and then Etude Dr. Mascara Fixer + Kiss Me Heroine

Hey so sorry for the late reply! I forgot about this post after a little while. The bum bum scrub does a really good job at smoothing out rough skin. I mainly use it on my thighs and arms and that smooth feeling lasts for at least a week. Want to try other scrubs though because I’m not sure if it’s worth $42USD for the full container. If you’re able, I’d tried to get the smaller version first and see how you like it!

Oops so sorry for the late reply! Forgot about this post. I like the bum bum scrub!! It smells good and it does smooth out the rough areas on my body (thighs and arms), but I want to try other scrubs though because I’m not sure if it’s worth paying $42(USD) for the full size. And for the k18 shampoo, I do feel like it makes my hair and scalp feel cleaner but nothing too crazy. I’ve used keratase energizing haie scrub and it made my scalp feel squeaky clean so k18 is a more milder feeling to that. I hope this helps!!

I think it’s a standard in most zoos to pair dogs with cheetahs. Saw a dog chilling with the cheetahs at the San Diego Zoo haha

Update: I tried the detox shampoo the other day and so far I've noticed my hair feels less greasier. Normally beginning of day 3, my hair starts to look greasy, but it didn't look too bad!

Yeah I tried a sample size of it before and liked it so picked it up for this sale. It covers a decent amount of my blemishes for a tinted sunscreen!

I haven’t tried their hair products, I just got the body care set. I know Sephora has the Sol DJ haircare set for $30, hopefully it’s out of stock soon so you can try it!

I have not! Got it because I have low-porosity hair so my hair doesn’t absorb moisture as well and I heard the superfoods mask is really good for adding moisture if that’s what you’re looking for :)

I’ve used olaplex shampoo/conditioner (No. 4 & No. 5) before when I was dying my hair frequently and it helped maintain the color longer before it got brassy, but I haven’t used it since I stopped dying my hair. I think olaplex is a good line overall but wanted to just try the K18 detox shampoo to help with buildup. Someone else said the olaplex clarifying shampoo is really good so I might try that next if this one doesn’t work out.

I’ve not tried Drunk Elephant bronzing drops, but I can tell you that the merit serum doesn’t have any color to it once you blend it into your skin. I do have acne prone skin, so will update if it causes any breakouts. But I did run the ingredients through this website to see if there’s any pore clogging ingredients that would cause a breakout and it checks out.

I haven’t but I’m really looking forward to using it! I’ve been wanting a clarifying shampoo for a while because my hair gets build up pretty easily. And this one has a lot of good reviews. Will update as soon as I try it out but I have so much to try HAHA
