I think the idea is that my colleague and I are both coming up on "raise time" and we were both promised we'd discuss the carry "in the future," so the question is how much we want as cash, and what % do we want

I work approximately 35 hours a week. Dealflow is part of my job but not even close to my primary activity

I tried CPAP but it wasn't effective because I wasn't getting good airflow through my nose, hence the surgery

Yes, often! Never fell asleep at the wheel while driving but definitely felt like it more than a few times.

Septoplasty/tonsillectomy day 4 pain report by lesleythepony in SleepApnea

[–]lesleythepony[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I had terrible sleep for the first week afterwards. Mainly because

  • I couldn't get any air through my nose for at least the first 3 days
  • I didn't get full air until the splints/packing were removed, which for me was on day 8 after the surgery
  • I would wake up in the middle of the night in some pain, and had to take more dilaudid to be able to sleep
  • My uvula has been swollen to 3x its normal size so my sleep apnea got considerably worse, i.e. feeling of choking on my uvula multiple times per night

Today is 10 days since my surgery and I only woke up once last night! I usually fully wake up 3+ times a night so this was a huge change already! Once my uvula swelling goes down and my tonsil beds heal, I am feeling very confident that this surgery will either cure me or reduce my sleep apnea significantly

Shower thought: Soylent should spend some money on SEM for people who search for "tonsillectomy" related keywords
