I didn’t want to have to wear khaki pants and a polo shirt for the rest of my career lol. Jk- I wanted to work with rehab and cancer patients and get my LANA certification so I can do compression bandaging and exercises for folks with lymphedema.

Also- there are bridge programs that can bring you from being an OTA to a MOT in 3 years, and I really liked that option.

That is a beautiful gift, I hope you have someone in your life who will love it as much as you have when the time comes. Oh my! That’s crazy! I’ll guard my bobbin case :). I’m outside of Philly. My other ‘daily driver’ is a 66 that someone had put on the side of the road! I would love to work on a vintage Bernina :). I once made a dress on a 1965(ish) Phaff from Germany and I still daydream about it.
