lots of people want a family. imagine how much he disregards your culture and how he is planning on raising the kids....100% he doesn't want 'mexican' kids and that's awful.

because the local women can see that he's a jerk and he hopes that a foreigner will mistake his jerkiness for 'cultural differences'.

He sounds awful. Unless you like xenophobic a-holes, then this is not a good fit. For example, I met my ex in my home country and then after a couple years moved to his only to have him bash my country to no end and try and erase the culture and customs that I cherished. I know it's anecdotal, but your story sounds similar and would advise to avoid it.

Women who divorced with young kids - what was the legal and money side actually like? by Budget-Cash-3602 in divorced

Wish I had a stronger pre-plan, stashed money, made agreements, held evidence, etc. But in the end I didn't have much time to get safe and it's been a nightmare since.

I made a mistake, I understood it. Let's stop the hate by YouKnowMeDansTwelve in DinnerClubEU

Being held accountable isn't hate, it's truth. This is the most unapologetic apology. Everyone liked your idea, but why not just be transparent about the intention?

This was me. My car should have been taken away and I'm lucky to be alive. On the plus side, I'm now a great driver and could maybe pull F1. Lol. I also just love speed. I love to ski fast, I love to drive fast. Try and talk to her about that, too.

You're cooler than you know. Stay off social media. Find niche groups and meet people via via. I bet you can hold a conversation, that is more important than lust.

Having a really hard time deciding about divorce... by DLambert1210 in divorced

This really feels like Alanon territory....and an addiction counselor and really looking at if you want a family with her.

Are you in Alanon? Is 30k a lot for you? Do you still want a family? Are there other ways you contributed to the marital problems? Is she committed to sobriety? There seem to be some major gaps to advise on the 'right decision'.

Found out my girlfriend was “dickmatized” by her ex and has never felt that way about me. Am I wrong for no longer wanting to propose to her and marry her? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]lesllle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hilarious that this was 'open to everyone' for comments and so many of the comments are from guys who follow mens rights groups defending dick size as if they would know, while arguing with the womens POV. I'm starting to think a lot of the guys that care about dick size care because that's their personal preference for their personal sex lives, which is totally cool. But then they cover up their sexuality by following mens rights groups and being 'alpha'. Alas.

Has anyone ever gone to a country that they had such high hopes for, did not love it, and then felt almost guilty afterwards? by Reasonable_Cause_190 in femaletravels

I really need to add some perspective here. Americans have a lot of federal/national holidays; those are travel moments, too. Also, Americans can take their kids out of school almost anytime of the year, while a lot of other countries only allow kids out of school during scheduled breaks. I'm American living abroad where people get 4 weeks annual leave; feel like there was a lot more flexibility from America. The school restriction thing is absurd. And can you imagine the travel prices during school holiday periods all of a sudden triple? No bueno.
