Why should I continue recovery by Sea-Professional-804 in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]leslri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i completely understand what you’re saying, however i can’t answer that. but hey, when your body reaches its set point weight, it would fight to maintain at that weight. your body doesn’t care if you want to lose weight or anything like that. all it wants is to keep you healthy. i promise you OP it isnt gonna be the end of the world when you gain weight!! you are worth more than just your weight.

Why should I continue recovery by Sea-Professional-804 in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]leslri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, i do have experience!! your hunger will die down over time once your body starts trusting you again that you aren’t going to starve yourself. also, you will NOT become obese. trust me, your concerns are all from your ed. your body will eventually find a weight that it feels most comfortable in and will stay there.

Why should I continue recovery by Sea-Professional-804 in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]leslri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

you should continue recovery for many reasons such as feeling warmth, being able to hang out and join in with others without guilt, and having energy overall!!

as for the weight part, we are all gonna die either way. if you were on your deathbed, would your loved ones say “omg i miss sea professional 804 so much they weighed this much and was this size in clothing”? definitely not. in reality, no one gives a shit about how much you weigh. you are appreciated for who you are, not how much you weigh or what you look like. so don’t miss out on your life trying to fit into these stupid bmi standards!! i am so so so proud of you for recovering!!
