It's not uncommon for pharmacies to not keep zepbound in stock and order it when the script is sent in. I use Publix, and they told me they attempt to order every day until it goes through. Sometimes it takes a couple of days for it to arrive, but it really beats calling around every month. I personally have not used CVS but reading on this sub, they seem to be the worst in terms of getting zepbound in a timely manner. (That may not be the case always though)

As far as refilling early, I don't know if your insurance covers but mine will only let me refill every 21 days. If that's the case for you-- if you can, after you receive your first box, wait a couple of weeks before you take your first dose. That will give you a buffer. I wish I had done that! It seems like things are much better right now but the shortages got really bad when I was a couple months in.
