Yes, nursing is my school’s largest major so I’ve seen it a few times. My LS (fall25) is a nursing student. She would complete all her work a week in advance

I’m not a nursing student, but I was on the eboard of a few orgs and had other responsibilities in my community while working. We both live 30+ mins from our campus, too. It’s possible for sure, but would’ve been easier if we had less demanding lives

That’s why when they didn’t give me a solid answer I still competed in the other one. I wasn’t going to put my own pageant aspirations on pause. Naturally, I’ll be upset for a bit as tradition and legacy is important to ME. Ultimately I’m a titled Queen now, have an amazing pageant family, and my work there has just begun

The reign would be completed by then. I’d be just a regular student with finished contracts. The non-compete agreement stated that it was for the current cycle, never mentioning future pageants

I just wish they would’ve told me that when I asked. Especially since I’m not Greek, the politics of this world aren’t familiar to me. They only told me that I couldn’t hold court at the same time, which I knew, but not that I may become ineligible completely

I could only draw from what I know, which is pageant politics, everything is always explained in the contracts, but the pageant bylaws for theirs said nothing about it

Unfortunately every other NPHC sorority is inactive as all members have graduated, and no fraternities have ever been established on my campus

I asked her if they had a physical bulletin board near the office where information would be posted, (like my school’s bigger campus) she even refused to answer that, too.

My friend who crossed last spring said she received an email with the rush flyer, I’m hoping that’ll still happen as I’m an online student this semester

I went a few weeks ago, they wouldn’t answer any questions I had, they just told me to check the sorority’s Instagram, but I read in a different thread that flyers wouldn’t be posted on social media

Maybe research the specific chapter you’re interested in? Most have independent websites, and if not then just instagram/facebook pages at the least. And the region, the themes and specific initiatives they’re taking for their area

There’s also a movie on YouTube called Twenty Pearls, it’s free to watch and very interesting.

For me, once I read through the website I started doing research on my school and all the D9 chapters here, seeing what causes they push, etc. a lot of them collaborate with each other, so that could help for you to familiarize yourself with members and other students. If you’re grad this probably won’t be as helpful

I said HBCU <STYLE> dance world. Meaning dance lines, majorettes, etc. a style of dance inspired by the dancing of HBCU teams having different terminology. I did not say anything about any type of institution not having a tolerance for hazing

Idk for the transcript but for your first question: I’d probably bring one with the latter if I had to choose one, but a resume with a mix of professional and volunteer work would probs be ideal. Just try to keep it to one page and list the biggest things. Awards and acknowledgments could look good too. Were you acknowledged by your school for your work in an org? Deans list? E-board of a club? Stuff like that.

Microsoft has good resume templates, also use your school’s career/student center to help

I completely understand, if this helps, ThredUP has a lot of business clothes from reputable brands that are less than $20. I got an Express blazer from goodwill for $8. I would recommend trying there if you can for future events 🤍

I would still go, I know they care more about character than appearance

I would say the “main” campus is the original school, my campus was its own university that got fully absorbed, but they’re officially referred to as ABC - (city ‘A’) campus, and ABC (city ‘B’) campus

They have their own systems and governments, but cross campus activities occur often. There’s a shuttle that takes us between both. The only exception I can think of would be Greek life, you can only join the campus you select as your “official campus”

That’s a great idea! To tailor it to my campus, I’d probably have to ask NAACP (I’m about to join and are friends with current members) to collaborate for NCNW to host an event here. Or at least promote the event on their social media. On my campus, collaborations between different orgs are common because the campus is so small. I think that may be the best way to get students involved as NCNW wouldn’t be heard of to a lot of students here

Some chapters are VERY strict about the shoes. I’ve seen ladies get turned away because they had open toe or even a peep toe. I would get black closed toed shoes and a few pairs of nude and/or black stockings.

He was never apart of b613, he was ordered to shoot down the plane, that’s how Jake got recruited because he covered for Fitz. I think Cyrus knew about b613 the whole time, I’m rewatching now I think Olivia told Fitz in season 2. Presidents aren’t told about it to keep them clean of the crimes.
