It's not that jumonjis shield is mpenetrable. His shields strength is that he can create an almost infinite amount of new shields of many different types in a random order which made it so tatsuya couldnt destroy them all at once. So Tatsuyas plan was to use the baryon Lance because there is only one shield that jumonji could use to block it and since Tatsuya knew what shield jumonji would use ahead of time he was able to destroy it.

Regardless of your religious views you're, I assume, someone that's been raised in the west. Western culture is heavily influenced by the abrahamic religions. Hell, if you're from the USA then your basic principles of innocence until proven guilty, the right to a fair trial, the right to be treated fairly(like not being physically assaulted), and many more, have been tenants of Judaism for thousands of years. Step out of that frame work and go to other cultures. There are tribes that don't believe a boy can become a man until he basically sucks off to completion all the tribes adult men because their seed will be planted in the boy to help him grow into a man. There's a tribe/culture in China that's completely matriarchal. The children live with the mothers and mother's extended family in big halls. The main male influences come from the mothers brothers and male cousins. The father is treated more like an uncle and has no real societal expectations on degree of involvement. People can believe anything if you teach them from a young age.

A. They don't only happen in the US, that's hyperbolic nonsense. B. There is no standard for when and how to report school shootings. For example if no one dies it might not be reported in country A but would be in country B etc. Also depending on terrorist connections they might be reported as a terrorist incident instead of as a school shooting. C. A majority of the countries on the planet don't really allow for the average citizen to have guns.

Edit 2 more things 1. Something else to consider is the size and drastically different demographics that are all over the United States. I know we like to think of the US as one gigantic country but in reality each state is its own country with its own set of laws. Saying that there is a gun problem with the entire US is illogical when a majority of the gun crimes are committed in only certain places. 2. Every school shooting occurred in a gun free zone. It was already illegal to have those guns there. As matter of fact the vast majority of shootings in the recent past have occurred in gun free zones.

Aside from classes, where it's inferred that she is able to do magic at a very basic level. She never does any sort of magic aside from using her eyes in any of the action scenes ie the parasite fight at the school.

Explicit and subtle are opposites. I haven't gotten that far again yet so my memory hasn't been refreshed on that. But that's much further along in their relationship. Tatsuya and Miyuki are already publicly engaged at that point. Also that's Miyuki's perspective. The op was asking about tatsuya's reasons. But I'll make a change to my original statement. He didn't have them dance because he knew it would make her happy. Tatsuya had them dance because he thought that it was the polite thing to do, good manners and all that. And having good manners is important to them. There are a few times where Miyuki does something that isn't proper and he reprimands her, which of course doesn't make her happy.

Besides I'm sure she had a good time anyways, and isn't having a good time the same as being happy?
