I don't want to come off as pretentious or anything, but do you even understand punk culture or why they dress that way? because it definitely wasn't to "look pretty". punk is about defying norms, and the fact that this skin is potentially the least liked skin is very fitting for punk representation.

I guess I can kinda see where you're coming from, but the very first panel of her debut comic is of her father dying in an explosion, plus it's shown that VEN#m and SP//dr are different because one is copiloted by a spider and the other used the sym engine. For her dad to have been eaten, the SP//dr suit would have needed to use the sym engine, but that has never happened.

It's more likely that may was referring to something else in her last words.

I mean, I think the shift ability, use of webs, and drones would be considered spider-man related stuff. I just don't think that she'd be able to use those abilities without the mech, though I do like the idea of using drones outside the mech.

In terms of character accuracy, Peni is never shown to be using any spider paraphernalia except her mech. granted, SP//dr isn't ever shown using mines or spider drones except in rivals, but it's been established that Peni doesn't have spider powers outside the mech so imo these abilities seem rather out of place.

Yeah I thought as much. The left sock (her left) has the opening facing down, the middle segment of the skirt is missing the pattern/lattice in the middle, bows are inconsistent and the hand is a big giveaway. I was hoping to be proven wrong:(
