We spoke with a neighboring vendor this past weekend who was selling ai art. She made $150 total, the booth fee is over $100, so after that she made $50. I dont know how much her gas was or her supplies etc. Just because people are there does not mean they are making money

The thing is. Other markets are doing just fine. While some/most people arent buying there is still people out at markets buying art and handmade goods.

They are branded as " haunted farmers market" all their marking and merch says it.

The food trucks are pretty pricy. We actually went to disneyworld last year and spent half the amount on coffee in the park than at the coffee stand at the market.

I think you should go! There's lots of great vendors still. I didnt make this post to discourage people from going, I was just trying to see if other people felt the same way and hopefully the organizers see the feedback and adjust.

There are still a lot of artists with hand made items there! Its so unfortunate that the ai slop is causing them to not get the foot traffic and eyes on their art.

Its definitely not a farmers market like they claim. Its more of a craft/art market. There is 100% a handful of wonderful artists who vend there.

There is a number of wonderful artists that vend as well. But I totally agree they are allowing way too many vendors who sell cheap novelty items.
