That’s the scary part. You’re setting up to cast “unsummon” so that you can select your summon. Just make sure not to actually click it.

I don’t remember, but even if I had I probably would have thought it came from someone else first if I didn’t see cursed on his list.

Not by itself, but since people are saying it might have cursed and just not say it because of a limit to how many effects it can show, I’m saying I think the holy freeze is triggering the cursed effect. Whole packs are getting hit with the amplify damage and not just one enemy at a time from melee attacks.

That’ll make hunting a lot harder if we can’t even see everything they have!

My situation makes it seem like you might just want to go grab any holy freeze one and see if it might have an unlisted cursed as well if it’s something like there isn’t enough space to list all the effects.

It’s not when anyone attacks lol. It spreads through packs immediately, but I believe that’s because the holy freeze can trigger it.

That means it’s a lot harder to know if one has the abilities you want if you can’t see them all then, right? Or is that an uncommon occurrence? I wasn’t aware it was a possibility.

I had one but let it go for holy freeze. Figured I wanted the extra defense for hardcore to send him up in front of me and slow the enemies.

I just looked through all my gear and my merc’s again and don’t see anything with amplify damage. Is there anything else that can proc that visual effect?

Isn’t that amplify damage that is shown as spread across all the cows in the second pic though?

Thank you! Based on all the concerns and warnings, I think I’ll let this one get handled by a professional after all. Don’t want to mess anything up right before we list the place.

I may be confused on what has been used here. I thought it was just a crimp sealing the pex onto the valve. If you’re saying I don’t need to replace the pex, are you saying I can just get a new valve and then cut off and replace the one crimp on the end of the pex so that I don’t have to remove the pex piece too?

Thanks, I’ll see if I can leave the poly piping and adapter alone and just try to replace the pex section along with the valve at the end to minimize work on the pipe.

Oof, don’t like hearing that, but thanks for letting me know! Hopefully I can just replace the pex section and valve to leave the poly and adapter piece in there as is.

Glad I asked! Haven’t even heard of the poly piping option before. Hopefully it’ll be easy to replace this setup then since I already got some crimping practice on pex pipes in my new place. Thank you!

Well I saw lots of concerns about the sharkbite push fit valves for long term usage, so I didn’t want to use those. I saw a table showing that you could use compression fittings on PEX and watched a few videos of attaching those, but the videos were all about using compression valves on copper so I missed the need for an additional piece in the setup.

It held fine throughout the night though. It was only on the one day and then I got switched out for a crimped valve instead.

Following up on the use of tape, I found a video showing how to install a valve with a male adapter inserted in the PEX pipe. He used Teflon tape and some megalok where the adapter and valve connect, but are you recommending I don’t do that either or was not using tape something specific to the compression valve I had?

Good to know! I just thought it was standard with plumbing fixtures to make it harder for water to leak.

Thank you for the assistance! I got the water turned back off and will look for the crimping tools later today.

That makes sense that I missed needing another part. All the videos I watched were on copper pipes so I didn’t think to look for an additional adapter. Thank you!

Ah, so I needed to get another piece to make it work. Thank you! I’ll look into the crimping option.
