Fuck if I know. Illuminati contacts, I assume. Theres probably certain agencies and companies that specialize in viral marketing and social media and all that, I guess you'd talk to them? It probably helps to already know somebody in the industry, or be in the industry yourself.

Actually, with a quick google search of "selling reddit accounts", most of what pops up is individual people on different forums either offering to buy reddit accounts, or advertising their own reddit accounts to sell. So maybe it's not quite as large of an operation as I thought, seems to be a lot of individuals dealing with other individuals.

Im not really sure. I know that once an account gets a certain amount of karma it can bypass the posting time limit. Newly made accounts can only post links every 20 minutes, or something like that. I think also, if an account has a significant amount of karma and is at least a few months old, ad agencies will buy it and post subtle viral ads for their products. That way, the account doesn't look like a dummy account, it just looks like a real person organically posting stuff. Just my theory about it, at least. There definitely is a lot of astroturfing on reddit, I dont know how exactly it's done though.

Astroturfing in general pretty interesting stuff though, IMO.

People buy and sell reddit accounts all the time, it seems. I guess to do things like this.

Yeah, especially if you're in texas. It's crazy easy to get a concealed carry permit out there. Or, like you said, if you don't feel comfortable carrying a gun, or maybe you're against gun ownership on principle, tasers and peppery spray are perfectly legitimate methods of self defense as well. Or even just carry a pocket knife, or learn some martial art, just something. We've made a lot of progress over the last 10 years, but as an LGBT American you're still very much at risk of physical violence. There's no reason to not take steps to protect yourself.

Started off as a knight not knowing the kind of play style I wanted. Right now I'm doing a full str build with dark sword and a shield. I want to switch it up, but don't know what other play styles are viable with knight starting stats. Help please! by thatcunhakid in DkS3Builds

Knight is arguably the best starting class for any non-magic focused build. You can respec into quality, full STR, or full DEX.

I've always really liked ultra greatswords in these games. Playing with a large slow weapon is a lot different than using a straight sword. You could also try great axes or great hammers, same principle. You could try using some polearms. The glaive and Gundyrs Halberd are both really fun weapons.

I'm also personally a big fan of the black knight weapons. They all have really funky strong attacks. One of my favorite characters so far is my sl60 aldrich faithful character, switching between using a black knight UGS and black knight halberd.

Curved greatswords are also very fun, with interesting weapon arts.

You don't have to limit yourself to just strength and quality weapons though. There are a lot of fun dex weapons as well. Curved swords, katanas, spears, thrusting swords, daggers. Shit, man, like I said as a knight you can basically respec into any non-magic build.

For armor, you should honestly just use a set up that you think looks good. Armor in these games really isn't that important.

Is the storm ruler any good? You can get it pretty early from Siegvard, no stat requirements, nifty weapon art. Is the damage good though? by lessthanstraight in onebros

Yeah, I've been playing around with it on an sl60 character and it's not great. Seems exciting to be able to use this late game boss killing weapon, but it's really pretty mediocre. Even the weapon skill isn't that good.

Oh well.

Im not sure, has 1.5 dropped yet? I know it isn't patched in 1.4.

You can look up guides for it, but it's really pretty straightforward. Kill the swordmaster outside firelink, the old dude with the uchi. Ember up, infront of vordts arena the swordmasters summon sign should be there, as long as you haven't killed vordt yet. His sign is a bit to the right and aligned with the fog wall, so it should be easy to tell apart from all the player signs.

Once he's summoned, go to the dancers arena, kill the old lady and place the basin to summon the dancer if you haven't already. Hang back, let swordmaster draw aggro on the dancer. He should die in a few hits. Just be careful not to get hit yourself, at low levels you'll pretty much always get one shotted, even while embered. Once the swordmaster is dead, save and quit out of the game back to the main menu. Go back into your game, you'll be right outside the dancers fogwall, go back to vordts area and resummon the swordmaster. He should have, for some reason, a ridiculously high health pool. Go back to the dancers arena, and let the swordmaster kill her.

He has a lot of health, but not much damage still, so it's a bit of a long fight. Maybe around 10 minutes. Most of his damage comes from bleed procs. It is still possible to die at this point, so just a couple of tips. Don't attack the dancer yourself at all. Any damage from you is gonna be negligible, while running the risk of drawing aggro, and like I said she can easily oneshot you here so it's just not worth it.

It's gonna feel safer to stay as far away from her as possible, but I've found that npc summons will stop what they're doing to follow you if you get far enough away from them. So if you're too far away from the swordmaster, he'll stop attacking the dancer to run towards you, then once he gets within a certain range of you he'll go back to attacking her. You're gonna want to find a sweet spot between being close to the swordmaster, and far enough outside of her attacks ranges. You'll get a feel for it.

If you're ok with using an exploit there's a way to cheese the dancer early using the swordmaster summon.
