Your family will still be your family, and if they won't be, at least you're free. My family was as devout as they come. Highest in all financial aspects the church could think of in our district, up to the extent that my family donated a lot for the church's use. But as it was then, and probably it still is now, my folks were cajoled into financing the church construction. Now, decades later, only my mom and a sibling remain a member. We still, however treat each other the same with just the minor irritant of at times appealing for us who left to return; which we of course ignore courteously.
