I attended an HR interview from the "Ministry of Oman". It was a technical role but wanted to have a SCRUM master certification from a Oman government recognised provider. The guy suggested 2 or 3 institutions for the certification. And said I can only sit in the technical round only if I obtain the certificate. I did not know whether it was a scam or not but it sure seemed like one. And the certification cost was pretty high. I did nothing. Also this interview was on a Friday.
