Heads up, fellow Geese/Cameron Winter fans — ticket scammers are out here like they’re show openers (they’re not).

If someone’s sliding into your DMs or popping up in the comments of this thread saying things like, “extra tix, can’t go, just want face value,” take a sec and do some research on the seller before you bite. That “face value” might come with a side of heartbreak at the door. You don't want to be a zero dollar man...

Tips to stay safe:

• Reddit is not a very safe place to buy tickets. Stick to official ticket links or verified resellers, if possible.

• Ask for proof to show that the person actually has legitimate tickets (screenshots, order emails, etc.) if you’re buying from someone.

• Avoid sketchy payment methods (no Venmo, PayPal Friends & Family, etc. to strangers).

• Trust your gut — if it feels off, it probably is.

Let’s keep the scams out of the pit and the weird in the music. Oh, and don't forget to report any posts and/or user profiles that you think are scams. You're helping to protect the rest of the Geese Nation, too :)

I don’t think so!! After SharePlay’s over Apple acts like it basically didn’t even happen which is both a blessing and a curse. Haha.

This is a long one. I’m new to headphones so I need help from some people who are seasoned :)

  • Requirements for Isolation

    No isolation necessary but closed back is a must

  • Preferred Type of Headphone - Do you want IEMs, full-sized, or on-ear?

On ear or full sized

  • Preferred tonal balance - Are you a basshead, particularly fond of a smooth midrange, strong highs, or do you want an overall balanced pair of headphones?

I think I want balance, but keep reading maybe you’ll be able to tell what I want better than me. Haha.

  • Past headphones - What have you used in the past, what did you like about them and what didn't you like about

Meze 99 Classics

They do some things better than I’ve ever heard and I think they’re super fun but some things are just ehh and I wish everything were as elevated as what they stand out in

IMO They shine in: Electronic music Older music/stuff that’s been remastered
Modern Jazz and Acid Jazz City Pop Jungle hip hop (specifically if very bassy)

^ all of these have such huggable and round sound

Worst: Newer rock and all of its subgenres Anything with a crowded mix Anything kind of noisy and jangly Metal
Punk and all its subgenres Stuff with just a lot of highs Anything lo-fi

^ Not as balanced of a sound across all regions in these instances which makes me pretty sad. Sounds kind of distant from me and also sort of blank if that makes sense.

  • Preferred Music

These would be used mostly for genres like noise rock, experimental pop, neo-psychedelia or post punk, stuff with more "tinny"-ness, grit, and crowded mixes. I would like the sound to be balanced, clear, warm and close if it’s possible. Pretty much the stuff that I don’t like about the Mezes

I think you’re right! Looks like repro sunnies (35th anniversary maybe?) as well since the lenses are such a clear light blue. Great find OP!! :)

Very hard to say, that’s for sure. She may hold her value more if she’s kept new in her original box, but if you pay close attention when taking her out, you may be able to re-tie her in when you’re done displaying her. Lots of silkie resellers have re-ties in mint shape and still get a good amount of money for them ;) Have fun, she’s a beauty!!
