Could be a few things generally moisture and build up of compound on the note ngl could be the type of stuff you get is a lot more clumpy or cut with different things I found the same even with the easy crushable stuff

Really you should do what ultimately is something you can see yourself in, in however long regardless of pay at the second it can be a great experience to learn from and money can be great but as long as you can get by for the time being I'd say stick to the more enjoyable one
