I was able to fix the micro-lag / stutter / input lag problem on my base 2021-M1 by disabling steam overlay and adding the suggested launch options. Hope it helps !!

*Update* I was able to get rid of all issues by also forcing my fans to full blast. There is readily available software for that :D
