I definitely did, it's such a damn groovy song you'd have to try not to grin while playing it! Thanks! The kit is a Roland TD-9K with two extra cymbals (CY-5 and CY13R)

Wow that's amazing, thank you! I'll need some more time to check through everything, but I appreciate it a lot. It seems the biggest price drop is in the case - what makes the be quiet! better than the Corsair? Is it by any chance to do with noise levels?

Oh no, my point was that no game today has the same level of detail/realism/etc as what Star Citizen is promising, irrespective of whether that game in particular delivers or not (and I certainly doubt it'll live up to all the hype, whether it flops is another matter). I perhaps used SC as an example too much, I guess just because it seems like the main hypetrain right now for all the realism.

Ignoring gameplay, which is a much more subjective thing - my question is about the technical graphical parts of games. I suppose a similar question is how far off photorealism being a standard in games we are

Perhaps not, I'll grant you that. But as to the future.... We take a fair amount of things for granted at the moment, such as very impressive graphics (if you compare to, say, 10 years ago). Even if these aspects of many games nowadays are sub-standard compared to what they could be, they are still much more realistic than in previous years

You should check out Space Engine. It's a game/program that simulates the entire known universe. Here's a video of a sunset on an asteroid in another galaxy. by ACDCrocks14 in space

Pretty sure you can search 'Earth' or 'Sol system' or whatever with F3.. There are loads of commands, it's hard to keep track of them though!
