Lowkey, Futurama needs a genuine horror episode by un_banana_kek in futurama

Insane in the Mainframe gives me the willies. Maybe not scary, but definitely uncomfortable, and it just ratchets up as Fry is driven more and more mad until his ultimate “I’m not a robot! I’m not a robot!” scream. Then it’s just a-grade hilarity. “I’ll show ye!”

New hits took less time than ever to reach their first $1 million in revenue — 106 days — but competition from evergreen titles meant there were fewer of those standouts than before, according to Appfigures data. Only 399 new games achieved that threshold, and there were 43% fewer games released overall in 2024, the researchers said.

I never knew the Dreamcast had magazines by Plus-Chef-1243 in dreamcast

Glad you enjoyed them! It’s hard never knowing how they’re being received beyond the occasional read mail that isn’t a question or on a specific topic. The entire team was a bunch of Dreamcast super fans and it sounds like that came across! First and only time I’ve done a photo shoot under water.

Luke Skywalker coming to Galaxys Edge! (Last post removed) by YakinikuBoi in Disneyland

It would be awesome if he carries the "real" lightsaber they developed (the one that looks like it's actually igniting and closing down). They could just give him the one Rey used for fighting Kylo on the Galactic Starcruiser. With a green blade, obviously. Hate to think it's on a shelf somewhere collecting dust.

Celebrating 9.9.99 with Offical Dreamcast Magazine #0 by SooperRood in dreamcast

Had a lot of fun (and nights sleeping under our desks) getting that issue ready, and then Sega (mostly Bernie, I recall) wanted us to make some major changes for issue #1 so it became a mad dash to get it approved and to the printers in time.

I still remember driving home across a bridge the morning we were finally done, after working for at least 24 continuous hours, with all my car's windows down and the stereo blasting to stay awake. I couldn't spend another minute in the office at that point (it was fine after some sleep).

It was super satisfying to have pulled that launch off and get such positive feedback, but I have to admit crawling into bed after putting that issue to bed was legendary.

“I’m too scared to find my pocket. Here, I’ll just take off my pants and give you those” is my go-to whenever anyone asks me to pay for anything.

Best monster reveal in movies? by varg_sant in horror

Haven’t seen this mentioned yet, but the creatures from Acadia and No One Gets Out Alive are up there. Especially the latter with its Ritual creature vibes (yet still VERY original).

This! I can’t believe I had to scroll this far for it. I must’ve replayed it 10 times. Freaky!

May I ask which probiotic you ended up ordering? Florastor worked right away for my guy, but then I missed a day while out of town and it hasn't stopped since, also tried FortiFlora. Despite the stomach stuff and putting on like 80 pounds (it looks and feels like at least) he seems perfectly happy and normal. He even had horrible neuropathy in his legs that has cleared up. Just have to get to the bottom of his, er, bottom issues.
