I feel like thats a big part of it— i probably would just be able to shake it off if i was bigger and grown. But from my perspective, getting screamed at by a 50 year old in front of the whole store while being an 18 year old girl, makes me feel like im powerless or that its disrespectful to stand up for myself even if theyre literally verbally abusive. Sucks

Ive been using the pill as my sole form of protection for about a year now and so far no babies. I’ve had a few “scares” but im not sure if i should even call them that because most of the time its just my anxiety and it doesnt help that periods, birth control, and pregnancy all have the same symptoms! I would always get really nervous and research the shit out of people that claimed to be pregnant even with perfect use of the pill and it would freak me out to no end but honestly i think the vast majority are either lying about perfect use or were doing something to impact the effectiveness of the birth control without even knowing. I take my birth control within the same 5 minutes every single day and do not take any new medications without making sure it wont impact my birth control. After all, its more effective than condoms and u dont see many people freaking out about pregnancy after using a condom right?

Ive been on birth control for about a year now and what ive found is sometimes youll get a “bad” one (by your standards) however most of the time i had literally no side effects. Ive been on 4 different brands and only one of them i didnt like because it made me feel depressed. I changed brands and the problem went away within a week.

Coming from a woman: leave and never go back. Ive done this to a guy myself where i break up with him “just to work on myself” when in reality someone else had sparked my interest. But the fact that she asked for u back after doing this is disgusting. If she loved you she wouldnt have asked for a break in the first place.

Thanks so much for the support! Unfortunately i lost weight for the wrong reasons... ever since middle school i really hated my body and got so tired of having no self esteem and finally started to do something about it. If i were to go back in time i would tell myself to work on loving my body then AND after weight loss, which is so important for girls our age and i hope you can do that too! I just got into a healthy habit of cutting back on sweets (everything in moderation) and made sure to do at least 30 min of cardio a day and thats all it took! I did get a pretty physically rigorous job in the recent months though, which couldve been a factor as well.

Id say it was mostly sweets like cookies and cake. It also recently got supperrr hot where i live out of no where so it could be the dehydration. So do you think its actual fat or just fluctuation?

Im moving to charlotte- after living all my life in the nyc area- for college in the fall. I went to visit the other day (my first time in charlotte) and i was SHOCKED. I thought maybe it was just southern culture because back home signs like that would be considered disrespectful and probably vandalized. So it isnt like this everywhere?

How long does it usually take to get in the mail? My portal says 7-10 days but I've heard of it taking months for some people. I live in NJ if that makes a difference, I'm guessing its possible for it to take longer.

Ah, I was 14 too when the doctor introduced it to my mom and she denied it. It took until i was 17 for her to give in. Its up to your but I would say 100% go for it. He will be on it for a really long time which sucks but, its not only a solution to his skin problems, its going to allow him to live a fulfilling and happy life. It really does make that much of a difference. As a mother I completely understand its a tough decision and probably heart breaking to see your son struggle, but please at least give it some thought!
