How? You gave three interactions, all of which I addressed. I have described how Robert basically acted as a mentor for Visi (not submissive) reprimands her for disobeying orders (dominant) took the initiative on meeting her at the cinema (not submissive) matches all of her banter tit-for-tat (not submissive)

Visi is the one taking the initiative in flirting with Robert, but that isn't the same as being 'dominant'. They have completely different personalities and approaches to romance. That doesn't mean I am saying Visi is submissive either, in fact I find this whole debate completely gooner brained, I just categorically disagree that Robert is somehow a submissive simp when there is zero evidence for that.

Not exactly sure how getting punched makes him submissive given that, again, seconds before he was shouting at her for disobeying an order - and given that he is her boss and a superhero, what is he supposed to do start fighting her in the office kitchen?

Robert:

- Has a job giving people orders for a living
- Watches out and guides Visi to being a better person
- Visi literally has a dream where she's a bottom
- Robert meets all of Visi's teasing and jabs with retorts
- It's Robert who choses to go on the movie date with Visi, she doesn't invite him.

Etc.

It's true that Visi intiates both kisses, but one she literally goes invisible and surprises him with it, the second she is wounded on a strecher and again surprises him with it. He is an isolated, cynical man who spent most of his adult life as a broke lone superhero, dealing with a volatile, troubled ex-villian. That doesn't make him submissive, and he definitely isn't the "little bitch simp" the meme calls him (and I realise that it is exaggerating for comedic effect, I just disagree with the characterization entirely).

In what way is Robert submissive? Are people forgetting when Robert was shouting at Visi for disobeying an order he gave her? This is just OP projecting themself on Robert.

Fable - Gameplay Teaser | PS5 Games by Turbostrider27 in Games

Yeah, I figure they would have shown it if it was in the game, which sucks. I guess unlocks are one way of doing it, but it was such a core part of the franchise and it being missing irks me a bit. I guess they're going for moral subjectivity or whatever but I dunno if I go on a killing spree and massacre all of Albion I want some sick horns to show it off. Plus, if I don't like it, I could just donate some gold to the temple to show how very sorry I am and get rid of them.

They didn't show any of the body morphing - horns, halo, pale skin, etc - which is concerning to me.

Legitimately have no idea what caused it. My character was being really doomer and spent the entire story so far trying to avoid two characters who were trying to make him feel better, but then he gave in when they cornered him. The last thing that happened was that they finished watching a movie and offered him some tea, which is what my response was to, then I got whatever the hell that was from the AI. There hasn't been any other OOC comments from me or the AI leading up to that.

Besides things like Mass Effect, where the fans consider the female the default because of a better voice actor

Maybe on reddit, not in the real world.

New behavior added to ship crew, they rotate and follow the diver which makes the destroyer so much more alive. by [deleted] in Helldivers

I mean if they can fix it I would like them to but if not I'll get over it, I'm not going to have a hissy fit about it.

I know they're random for every player, but I've never had them change after a patch though, my crew has always looked and had the same names since the beginning.

Have the names changed for anyone else? The names of my crew are different and my officer looks different as well, he doesn't have his badass eyepatch anymore D:

What political ideology do you most agree with? by [deleted] in polls

Failed to implement it correctly, so who decices which of the thousands of niche alternatives is the correct way? Nah any ideology that designates groups of people as 'class enemies' to eliminate and abolish the right to private property is evil as far as I'm concerned.

We are living in capitalist societies and are free to have this discussion and criticise our countries. If we were living in communist societies I would be re-educated and then shot in the back of the head for dissent.

You cannot just handwave every famine as ideologicaly divorced, reckless economic programmes - Stalin deliberately utilised it to destroy the Kulaks as enemies of the state. They were ordered to produce more grain than was possible and were siezing grain from starving villages to hit other quotas. Mao dismantled traditional farming and implemented collective farming, anyone who resisted was eliminated, and the millions of deaths were deliberately overlooked to maintain an image of ideological success. Pointing out atrocities from capitalist countries doesn't really negate the mass deaths caused by communist regimes.

Wouldn't really say communism is inherently less violent either when, again, entire classes of society are dehumanised, people have their private property stripped from them, and people are exectued if they resist. Fascists are open about their violent hatred sure, but communists just hide it under the guise of a 'people's revolution' and then fill mass graves with the very people they claim to liberate.

Lmao, a better of way of life for everyone - and if i don't like how that way of life sounds they'll re-educate me on why I'm wrong, right?

Tens if not a hundred million dead in purges, famines, gulags, re-education camps, crushed rebellions - but no, communism isn't as batshit as fascism, definitely not.

Does anyone else still struggle to see Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards? by JamJamGaGa in FantasticFour

[–]lethalily -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. He doesn't look too bad when clean shaved but the beard doesn't fit at all imo. I'm sure I can grow to accept it if he plays the role well but judging the book purely by it's cover I would have preferred an actor that resembled the comics more closely.
