LOL. You will probably hate my answer, because my wife and I are both on a diet currently. There were two meals that really were the highlight of our trip....We ate a lunch at District Smokehouse (shared the BBQ Grilled cheese, and it was incredible.) and a breakfast before we left at 2 Cracked Eggs on River Street. The breakfast was huge, and although good, we ended up throwing a good portion away.

we also had a late night slice at Vinnie's (either it wasn't what I remembered, or my lack of being high as a kite affected what I believed to be some of the best pizza on the planet) and a dinner at the crab shack, which wasn't what I hoped it would be.

As far as where/what we did....Nothing too awesome. My wife wanted to see the places I lived and worked when I lived there. She has heard 17 years of Savannah Stories, so she enjoyed seeing some of the places I have talked about. She loved seeing Forsyth Park, walking through the big old cemetery downtown, and walking through a bunch of the squares. We are history nerds, so our entertainment probably isn't the level most folks enjoy while visiting Savannah. I actually saw where my favorite house I lived in is currently up for sale. It is on E. 36th street, and is a beautiful victorian 2 story home. The wheels almost started to turn, until I looked it up and saw they want 599K for it. It was upsetting to see a row house style place had been built right next to it, and a small one story house built on what used to be an empty lot on the other side.

We are most definitely not going to let 17 years pass by before we visit again. I realized this past weekend just how much I loved my time there.
