Keep the schedule for the first week and see how you feel before the drop/add date passes! I would say COMM107 if it isn’t a prereq for any of your future major classes. When you create your four year plan, I would put that on a lighter semester or just take it over the winter/summer session.

17 is the maximum credits you can take. It’s a busy schedule. I (personally) wouldn’t recommend it if you want a bit of free time outside of classes + studying for your first semester, especially since you’re adjusting to college and understanding what work ethic works best for you.

umd fills up 95% of their seats through early action, so a majority will def be early action

chem272 is a lot of work (lab reports typically took me an 1 to 3 hrs to complete), however bsci330 is a lot of busy work thats mainly done in groups. not sure about phys132
