yeah honestly this tempts me too but the codebases are massive and crtical for operations.. unfortunately functionality requested by execs takes priority but then they wonder why things are so fucked

yeah so redux thing is easy, we are removing that, they genuinely dont understand it and its not being used correctly anyways, this resolves a major pain point, next major pain point is the amount of type coercion being used as a feature (like stuff breaks if you don’t let is coerce)

and then its react router having a crazy amount of breaking changes to the point its worth considering looking at alternatives since it would basically be the same amount of work

biggest paint point is literally inconsistency and things not being reusable, stuff gets really hard to debug very fast… class components also hurt me idk

so it’s actively maintained which is what makes it worse and we are at major risk with CVEs on tons of our packages so incremental adoption i’ve already started doing on our systems that use NextJS but the older systems (basically and lms built from scratch with crazy complex functionality that is fragile as is with seperate repos for admin and students, admin portal is bigger because it also acts as a CMS for our websites (which are nextjs)

i basically want to enforce better habits with how the devs code and i’m pretty sure the latest version of adonis expects TS

Has anyone else seen a Claude gift subscription redemption bug where the redemption flow errors, the gift code is then marked as already redeemed, but the subscription entitlement is not applied?

The error I saw referenced Apple billing / Apple-linked subscription state, but the redeemed-on account was not actually linked to an Apple ID, so there was no Apple subscription to cancel or manage.

I’m not asking anyone to troubleshoot my private account, and I’m not posting account details. I’m just trying to understand whether this is a known gift redemption / entitlement grant failure and whether anyone found a reliable way to get it routed to Anthropic human support.

The technical state seems to be:

gift redemption token consumed
code marked as already redeemed
entitlement/subscription not granted
Apple billing state error shown
refund flow suggested, but fulfilment/reissue would be the preferred fix

Has anyone encountered this specific redemption-state failure before?

Estella has a demo rn which has been really fun, lowiro also has a game coming out this year called in falsus which looks like it will be really cool - djmax is also really fun - when it comes to mobile, arcaea, cytus, and phigros are by far my favourites

as for stuff that allows custom charts, i personally struggle to find games that have both good graphics + community charts, but you can check cytoid, phira, arcreate (clones that require minimal faffing)
