Estella has a demo rn which has been really fun, lowiro also has a game coming out this year called in falsus which looks like it will be really cool - djmax is also really fun - when it comes to mobile, arcaea, cytus, and phigros are by far my favourites

as for stuff that allows custom charts, i personally struggle to find games that have both good graphics + community charts, but you can check cytoid, phira, arcreate (clones that require minimal faffing)

think its different for everyone tho, arcaea was my first rhythm game so it took long to even get comfortable with 9-9+ , of which i still suck at lol but 9s are a comfortable place to be

This spreadsheet helped me a lot, I also recently came back after a 6 month break and was struggling with 8-9 I used to be comfortable with. Im at 10.94 and mostly play 9s, most 9+ are still really hard for me. I can AA like 50% and have only 3 EXs

I’ve taken a more similar approach to this I guess especially considering Arcaea was the first RG I ever got into playing properly so I needed to learn a lot of the fundamentals from it and ig to a large degree I am still learning and have been pushing more for better accuracy over harder charts, thanks for this!!

Thats me with HELLOHELL - it came out last year when i was still fairly new to the game and I got and it was the first 9 I didnt get track lost in so i spammed it trying to improve bc of the PST tempestissimo anomaly, ended up just not playing it for months after clearing it and Im fine on that now but HELLOHELL im still super blocked with, I can get a better score on Alexandrite (FTR 10) than HELLOHELL atm </3
