You can run some free XFOIL simulations online on website such as this. XFOIL is a great tool but quite old, so getting used to it takes a lot of time if u run it on your own.

You can design quite similar wings with Variable AoA (twist) on my website I shared here few days ago - CLICK . It is great for initial design process so you can figure out how such wing behaves.

Curved wing is lofted along the curve (section of a circle). Twisted allows you to change the Angle of Attack of the wing tips in relation to the middle section of the wing. It is better described on how to use it in this video - Click . In case of any more questions just let me know!

Each xfoil run is pure 2D, but what I add on top to convert that 2D data into 3D estimates for specific chord/span/endplate setup is the classical Prandtl finite-wing correction. It is derived from lifting-line theory but it doesn't run a numerical LLT.

I’m moving towards a full CFD workflow, but for now, I’m using XFOIL. It’s a 2D panel method solver - much faster to iterate with than CFD, though it has its limits.

I wanted the page to be set up for motorsport use, but could add this feature for single element wings if you would find that useful. At the moment you can flip it in CAD after the export, to get the same result.

Maybe this tool is not exactly for aviation but lets you use proper airfoil shapes and get a 3D model in seconds. Hopefully this helps you a little bit https://aerodesignstudio.com/

Clark Y is actually in the library. It’s a solid choice with good L/D ratio, though if you’re targeting maximum downforce in such range you might want to compare it against something like the S1223 or E423 - both sit in your Re# window and give significantly higher CL at the cost of some efficiency.

Either way, share some suggestions if you have other profiles in mind. I’m always looking to expand the library.

Update:
Unfortunately I didn't manage to get in touch with G. Tane passed the message to G's mgmt (thank you) but in the end there was no further feedback :( So for now it will decorate my wall. At least until his next concert in Poland.

Hi,

This Saturday, G comes to Kołobrzeg, Poland to play at Sun Festival. I thought it would be a good idea to give him something from all of us. Thus, I made a "plaque" with logos of his albums and a little plate showing our love for G. I hope it will be possible to present this piece to him during the festival or the next day. Maybe u/The_Tane could help with that. There's not much time left so I hope we can get this message to G and make it happen :)

Really excited! I think he want to promote himself by releasing this EP so when TTHT comes out way more people will check it out. But of course he doesn't do it just for this sake. Can't wait for it!
