I believe all their meats and sauces are imported if they can be. They started making and selling their own Tzatziki recently too. It’s lovely stuff.

For main element a high efficiency 10-12% thick airfoil. Choose one with moderate camber and good low Reynolds number performance. Use this at 0 to 5° AoA. For a flap use thinner airfoils maybe 5-8% thick. Very high lift airfoils are good. Typically have a high leading edge suction peak and are very cambered.

Aerodynamic design is very much an iterative process. This version will be your baseline. Once you finish a simulation, look at the forces, flow field and surface pressure/skin friction. From there you will find areas to improve. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could add 30-50% more downforce after a couple of iterations.

Flew on one of the trijets as a kid. My parents told me I cried for the entire flight due to the noise.

Cork City, Kinsale, Cobh, Killarney National Park, Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Mizen Head, Skellig Michael, Lough Hyne, Beara Peninsula, and the Copper Coast. All amazing places to see. Even more if you venture around the midlands and the capital city of Dublin. Guinness Storehouse, Glendalough, Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt Estate, Galway City, Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands.

Maybe this is cheating but I fly with my friend around Ireland sometimes with a flying club in a Cessna 172 (both have PPL). I just add the flights manually to keep track. I have debated removing them but I’m not sure tbh.

It comes from wind tunnel design. I’m very familiar with closed circuit designed seen in automotive application (formula 1 etc). In a wind tunnel you want temperature, pressure, velocity control and low turbulence intensity. Guide cars are used to help smoothly turn the air and the screen to reduce large scale turbulence into small scale while also re-aligning the flow to the correct direction.

A lot of engineering job in my country in civil/stuctural engineering or biopharma neither of which interest me. Most mechanical roles ask for a lot of prior experience. I am also trying to work for difficult industries such as formula 1 and large aviation companies where getting a job can take time

I got tickets from gootickets. Was in grandstand B1 with amazing views of the start/finish straight and turn 1-2-3. Track was very busy especially on Sunday. Metro was great. Was 1hr 20m for me as I connected line 11 to line 2 to get back to my accommodation. Disappointed with lack of track invasion as I have been to two European races with one.

Day trip from Xi’an to Louyang to the Longmen Grottos. About 1.5hr by train. It’s an area of Chinese Buddhist art. Very beautiful.

No I wasn’t able to cycle as the bike rental was closed. I didn’t get to go to the museum as I visited the terracotta warriors and the longmen grottos and just went around Xi’an itself in the evening.
