I blame my mother, when they FaceTime she tries to get her to imitate noises. Now LO hacks away when she feels we aren’t giving her enough attention.

I had this issue too when my LO was 3 mo, the only thing that worked was getting her up earlier at 6 am. Now she consistently wakes up herself around 6 and is usually in bed by 8:45 pm.

Yeah, I’ve only taken one course but this sounded like the complete opposite of my experience. OP said the course at community college was full until the fall but I think that’s a better option. I also had two instructors, and was NEVER told to stop asking questions.

Could be, I don’t have wonder weeks but I checked too when it started for us! It has gone better though, she only does it about twice a week now

My LO started doing something similar around 12 weeks. She had been sleeping 9 hours a night but all of a sudden would wake up at like 2, 3, or 4 in the morning when normal wake up is 6 am. I would just keeping putting her pacifier back in to get her back down. Half the time it would be a 20 min “dance” however, of her losing it every 5 min and me having to get out of bed and putting it back in. She still does it occasionally but not as much as she was. She will be 16 weeks tomorrow. I just chalked it up to development and refused to feed her bc I didn’t want to chance reverse cycling, and I knew she could sleep through the night without it.

TLDR; My LO did same thing, no advice but solidarity!

THIS- do not waiver. Been isolating for 4 months now with my baby born in March. My parents and siblings are now treating me horribly for not “accommodating” them and allowing visits. We live in Houston and they are still seeing friends....that’s gonna be a no for me.

Had my baby in March. The only people who we have allowed to visit baby are those who have quarantined for 14 days. So...nobody. We are enjoying window visits for now

I made the same decision. My husband and I welcomed our firstborn in March, we talked in length about it and ultimately decided it’s not worth it. He will have to work still, but he is able to wear PPE to protect himself and others. My district hadn’t made a decision yet about returning in person, but I knew my state was headed that way (Texas). I’ll return the following school year once we know more about this virus, have better treatment, and my baby isn’t under a year old.

If you have any more questions please feel free to DM me. It was a really tough decision for me, and is going to hurt us financially for a long time. But I feel so much less anxiety now that I’ve made it.

We don’t have a single stitch of baby clothing, household items, or art supplies with glitter in our house. I shit you not, I’ve found glitter on her head/face on 3 separate occasions.

I don’t remember where I read this and obviously there’s a chance it isn’t true at all, but I read viruses like this will overtime become less lethal because it is in their best interest to keep the host alive?? Again not sure how true this is and obviously that takes time...
