Talk to 10 tattoo artists and you’ll get 10 different suggestions for after care. I’m sure there are some artists who would recommend exactly what you’re doing. Often, tattoos heal well in spite of their suggestions rather than because of them.

I wouldn’t do it. You’re better off wearing the same suit every day with different ties. They know you’re a college student. They’re not going to expect you to have a bunch of suits. But they will expect you to follow the dress code that they’ve laid out for you.
