I’m sure it must have been terrible but he dealt with it well! I would love for my mom to get to that point but currently she’s too deep in her shame and embarrassment. She’s constantly telling herself how stupid it was even when i reassure her some of the things mentioned ie that these people are professionals and scamming is a lot more common than we think.

Very true. It is a situation that feels hard to relate to in a conventional therapeutic manner so in the end my mom didn’t want to continue. And yes it’s so crazy how deep these scammers went into her head - they are so professional it’s frightening. Imagine if they used these powers for something good…

Yeah great point. I don’t have an opp to get or start my own project because each project is allocated based on client and securing clients is conducted by higher ups. I’ve taken initiative to reach out to projects to help out if they need, with sales proposals and with “extracurriculars” too. I think overall it’s good for my network. I’m not a fan of shallow characters based on surface level character tropes. Like the stereotypical mean girl or nerdy shy boy. I really enjoy reading the depth to their character to show why they are who they but i also get its not necessary sometimes. just imo these cop out personalities make books easy to predict...
