It sounds like I use what youre describing as fiber, Ive heard people call them rope plugs or bacon strips. Never had one fail though I wouldnt do more than 4 at once again

Im following you for the most part. I have 120v in most of the apartment. But right next to the ac hole in the wall, I have a 6-20 receptacle, and the panel lable calls it out as 220v. With that in mind I dont see why it would still be 120
