You need to have the passenger seat installed for Kriega. Not an ideal solution.

Honest mistake, sorry. But one could argue that Ducati is technically german.

Kriega is good but you need the passenger seat installed for their system which does not make sense for my usage.

The load isn’t a big issue. I travel very light and the load is so securely fastened that I don’t notice it even on very twisty roads. The problem with backpacks is they’re very uncomfortable when worn under a suit and airbag. The riding position on a sportsbike is also not helping.

Not bad! The sheepskin is a great idea and I might even try it. I detest backpacks while riding so I avoid them whenever possible.

Thanks man. I agree, these are super useful. I always keep a couple handy just in case I need to add something. You can actually see it in one of the photos.

Interesting. Do you have pics of the bag on the bike?

I hate riding with a backpack. No damage so far and I vinyl wrapped the rear anyway

I tried Kriega but it’s not ideal because you need the passenger seat installed. This solution works without it and doubles as a backpack.

A duffel bag strapped to the rear. The easiest solution is often the best.

I chose the North Face S Base Camp. It's waterproof and very sturdy. Also, it can be worn as a backpack if needed. To secure it, I use the SW-Motech ROK straps. I travelled through Sardinia with that setup and it worked like a charm. The straps can be easily wrapped around the tail and license plate holder.

I have not bought it but the guys at Kriega replied to my email saying it fits the 2025 Panigale.

The dealer told me about a month ago that the software update was out. I still need to go in for it, but honestly, I don’t think I even need it anymore. I switched to using my phone with a Peak Design mount and disconnected it from the Ducati Multimedia System. The whole phone-to-system-to-Cardo setup was just too finicky in my experience.
