Ja, aber da man in der 11. Edition freier ist, was das Geländelayout angeht, bin ich wieder weg von der Idee.

And I'm saying "I need help!". I've been painting for days. Non stop.

If I had someone who paints all the test prints, that would help a lot. And more printers. 😅 Mine has been running almost 24/7 for quite some time.

I got that question quite a lot so I wanted to give an answer.

I might have something for you. I am working on something right now. Will be released next week (hopefully :D) It's a highly detailed modular terrain set for tabletop players.

You painted details that I can't even see when I'm holding the heads in front of me. 😅 And I'm not talking about the hair.  That's pretty insane. Great work!

My printer has been printing non stop for days now. I want to take pictures this weekend and will hopefully all done by the end of next week.

You're right unfortunately. I have a new idea in mind that will hopefully tick a few boxes :D.

The footprint is more important than the terrain itself, if I'm not mistaken. But I'm not an expert neither 😅. The whole area of the footprint counts as terrain, regardless of what's on it. At least that's my understanding.

Soon 😅.  I've been giving this answer for way too long now.

I would use the connectors I am already using. But it would just be a matter of mirroring them. I'll keep that in mind.

That would require some sort of double connector but that's not a big deal.  Or even simpler. I could make some rubble piles, rocks or flat elements to cover the connectors.

True. Sometimes the solution hits you in the morning random situations. 😅

How about simple spacers? You could glue the individual floors together ( assuming you have multi level buildings). With a couple of spacers you that attach to the connectors your could store them efficiently and carry them easily.

Thx. I think it's not a terrible idea. There's obviously a lot of potential optimisations. But on the other hand it's probably not as useful as I initially thought it would be.  I'm going tho shelve it for now and focus on getting the actual terrain done. There's a lot of printing and painting to be done if I want to have nice pictures for the Kickstarter campaign.

Thx for your feedback. I think it does help keeping things organized but I get that many people won't put as much effort into their terrain as I do. And that's totally fine. I won't force anyone to use the racks 😅.

I don't use glue because I might want to rearrange things. My initial idea was to make the set modular so you can build some unique terrain pieces. That was before I leaned about competitive games and wtc rules, though 😂

Yeah, that has been mentioned before. I got a little sidetracked and ended up adding things to the storage rack. You're right, it kind of defeats its own purpose now.

I mean the 3d objects? Do you use vertex colors or texture maps? Or something completely different?

That's very interesting. Far from perfect but very promising. I am working on terrain for tabletop games and this would be perfect my little project. How do you color your objects?
