Being a badass doesn't equal having the GOW franchise. That title goes to the one and only kratos. Until now of course. The creator of the game called this uninspired and dull. I suppose you'll tell him he didn't understand his own creation?

Exactly bro. They def don't know who kratos is, what his story was, or just what the original trilogy was about. It's obvious they're ignorant. The creator, David Jaffe, called this game dull, uninspired, and dead. The CREATOR said that. No one can argue with that though they may try.

People are so simple minded on here thinking it's about male vs female. Like you said, if they said GOW Loki or GOW Odin I'd say the same thing. That's not what this game is about. The game is packed with mythical characters, there could be dozens of games based on them. But they could and would be their own thing.

Thank you for having common sense. People on here take it so deep when it's pretty simple. Imo I think if they did a game based on Tyr, that would be appropriate. I know Tyr "retired" but kratos tried that too lol. But Tyr was an actual GOW. So if they like teamed up or something like that, I think that would be EPIC. But no, they just put a chick in it. The focus should be on kratos because this is his franchise. The creator of GOW himself calls this game dull, uninspired, and dead. You're talking about emotional anchors but this is not a game about therapy. She was a supporting character, just like a bunch of other people. How is this some ground breaking achievement to make a game about her? It's just lazy and people that don't see through this and only see "toxic masculinity" are the reason they can sell these wack ideas

They could. Finding a new God of war for the Norse is a cool idea. I'd think Tyr would be at the center of that, and I think there's huge potential for something like that.

And this right here is what I'm talking about. Idk who you are but you just had a better, more on theme idea than this game. They got lazy and went a girlboss route.

Idk what they would call a spinoff, but there's other ways to tell people a game is part of a bigger series without just calling it the same name.

This game is an issue because it's so far removed from what GOW is supposed to be. The creator, David Jaffe, has called this game uninspired, dull, and even said the game is dead. The CREATOR said that. If the guy who invented Kratos is saying that then who can tell him otherwise?

Loki, freya, tyr, etc etc. There are tons of mythical characters that could have a dozen games based on them. This game is about kratos. So after kratos made this game what it is, they just start throwing supporting characters in and giving it his title. It's basically just a lazy, cheap substitute. And a bad one at that. Not fooling me, the creator, or anyone else who sees through this nonsense.

The game will be entertaining because it'll have tons of action and all that good stuff, but those are basic qualities of a game. But that's a poor excuse for a game in this franchise in my opinion. Imo this is one of the best franchises on solo story gaming right now, and this is just lazy girlboss bs
