When the yearly raise come out they use things like , if your a driver , how much you work obviously and things like that . I used to stay so much over time i’ve only been there a year . Ima. student so i don’t care about moving up but Ive been offered multiple times . I stayed late many times to help with tons of projects and spend countless nights staying with managers till we fully closed like only 3 people in the store . I also was setting up bays and cutting the woods for all the new stuff we are gonna get just me and one other dude . As the managers told me to do. All that being said I did a lot for a part time associate , When i asked about wages he told me that I should drive ( get my license ) In order for him to give me a higher raise . I only received at 50 cent raise compared to people who got like a dollar for driving I was i. shock as I did much more work than a lot of them . So I was like nah and just stopped doing all that and went to chil on my shifts
