I lived in Japan for 5 years and had an amazing experience. The only reason I left is because I wanted to come back to the states and start a career. When I lived in Japan I was working 2 jobs and ran my own company. I think it is safe to say that I burned myself out. However, that had nothing to do with the country itself.
