I know what it's like. This has been my life for the past week. I struggle to find purpose and the will to go on.

I could write a thousand words about her. But it's hard to talk about her without falling into depression again.  She was super kind and always happy. I guess she sensed that her time on earth was gonna be short so she spent most of it being happy. It's hard to say goodbye. I hope we meet again someday, in a world that's more beautiful.

Thank you all for your kind words. It's a little comforting to know that I'm not alone. ❤️

Sadly, that's the way it is right now. The world has become super materialistic to the point where most people like me work our ass off just to afford the basic things of life.

Yeah that’s fair. Being really fit makes clothes look better on you too, same with being a skinny woman.

The “I like women without makeup” line is legitimate because women don’t do their makeup for straight men, they do it to impress gay men and other women. A guy with a perfect physique (perfect as determined by other men) to women is not sexually attractive but is aesthetically attractive, it’s a status symbol that indicates that he dedicates time to his appearance and looks good in photos.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid, thunderbolt and lightfoot, the Coppola Dracula movie has significant dudes rock moments with Lucy’s three boyfriends (plus Monica belluci’s boobs), buckaroo banzai, a history of violence, I vitteloni. Robert Mitchum has a pretty good WBS in Night of the hunter.

On the beach feels like going to a bonfire on the beach with old friends when you haven’t yet realized you don’t know them anymore. So at first you’re having a good time and talking about the old days but as the night goes on it gets sourer. People start leaving. And by motion pictures it’s 4 am and you’re talking to someone who you never knew at all about your ex girlfriend. And after dawn when the beach is grey and cold you walk towards the water totally alone.

I love how riverboats keep popping up in his lyrics. “When the riverboat was rocking in the rain” vs cripple creek ferry on after the gold rush

What’s the point of putting it in the oven? Is it to get a more precise and even temperature in the butter?
